Restaurant Live Arizona is a podcast, social media presence and blog focused on celebrating the personalities inside the Arizona food and beverage world. Host Joanie Simon spends her days in the restaurant scene, working to introduce you to the people putting food on your plate, and helping you find great dining destinations in your own backyard.
Joanie Simon is a 3rd generation Arizonan with a background in higher education administration and counseling. Joanie is passionate about food, but is even more passionate about promoting the people behind the food. Joanie’s favorite quote is by Claudia Shear. “Everyone has at least one story that will stop your heart.” She takes this approach to interviewing Arizona’s best and brightest in food and making a connection between the dining public and the hard-working people in the hospitality industry.

Want to pitch an interview/ blog post / social media campaign?
Please submit requests via e-mail to Joanie as email@example.com. Advance notice is important if the content is going to be time-sensitive (holiday details, anniversary promotions, etc..) as the RLAZ schedule is booked up weeks and sometimes months in advance. You are welcome to submit last minute pitches, but there are no guarantees that it will be incorporated into RLAZ content.
If you are a PR professional and have booked a guest on the show, it is requested that you do not outfit them with press-releases or other items to read from. That information can be submitted to Joanie for incorporation into the included blog post, but it is important that guests being interviewed come off as natural, authentic and talk from the heart. Joanie will set them up for success!
