CNN Portugal sports reports that Angel Di Maria will sign a new one-year contract with Benfica. The 36-year-old forward has made 48 appearances in all competitions for Benfica in the 2023/24 season. Scoring 17 goals and providing 15 assists. But his contract expired and the two parties have parted ways.

However, CNN reports that the Argentine has agreed a one-year deal. With Benfica and is waiting until after the Copa America before re-signing and re-introducing himself UFABET 

Likewise, Fabrizio Romano said Di Maria had agreed a deal with the Lisbon Eagles on Thursday. Which will see him play for the Portuguese giants until mid-2025. 

It is a decision to continue playing for Benfica, even though Di Maria’s future has had every possibility. Whether it be a return to Argentina or consideration of offers from elsewhere.

Benfica were also pleased with Di Maria’s performance. Although negotiations had previously been slow to progress, but the Portuguese team returned with a better offer, allowing discussions to proceed smoothly.

Benfica president Rui Costa  has confirmed that Argentine winger  Angel Di Maria  will sign a new contract and stay with the club until the 2024/25 season.

Di Maria is currently a free agent after his contract with the Lisbon Eagles expired at the end of June. But it has now become clear that the 36-year-old will extend his contract with Benfica for another year, until the end of June 2025.
