Manchester City manager Rodolfo Borrell hailed Cole Palmer performance in the 4-1 FA Cup third-round win over Swindon on Friday night past.

Cole Palmer, 19, had the opportunity to start for City alongside a key figure in the first team before scoring one goal and one assist as the UFABET team beat Swindon 4-1 into the fourth round of A. FA Cup as expected

Borrell, who will replace Pep Guardiola in quarantine for coronavirus, praised Palmer: “The quality is excellent. Everyone must have seen it. He’s a good footballer. and can still develop a lot and there is an abundance of talent.”

“Hopefully he will get a chance to play as many games for us as Phil Foden two years ago.” 

Borrell also summed up the game: “We started the game very well. Wade in from the beginning There were moments like the end of the game where we weren’t as good as we used to be and let our opponents counter. But overall it’s a good game against good opponents.

The 18-year-old, who was named amongst the substitutes against Bournemouth and Leicester City, has been rewarded with his first start for the fourth-round tie at Turf Moor.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER…

One of the younger members of the Under-18 squad, Wythenshawe-born Cole made a key impact at league, Under-18 Premier League Cup and Youth Cup level before injury interrupted his progress earlier this year.
